Sportsmen and women wishing to take part in an international sporting competition in Oman must apply for a single-entry e-Visa for a maximum of 30 days. The traveller will receive a reply in around 3 days.<\/p>\n<h2>Conditions for obtaining an e-Visa for Oman<\/h2>\n<p>Athletes whose country qualifies them for a sports competition in the Sultanate of Oman must meet certain conditions in order to obtain an Omani e-Visa. These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry into Oman<\/li>\n<li>do not have an Israeli visa<\/li>\n<li>have 3 blank pages, including 2 facing pages, in the passport on arrival in Oman<\/li>\n<li>be from one of the following countries: all the countries of the European Union, South America (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, etc.), Australia, Canada, USA, China, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nationals of visa-exempt countries must apply for an AVE Oman electronic travel authorisation. Those not on this list should contact the Consular Department of the Sultanate's embassy.<\/p>\n<h2>How do I obtain an e-visa for Oman?<\/h2>\n<p>To obtain an e-Visa for Oman for a sports competition, you can apply via the official website of the Sultanate of Oman.
