For many years, it was not possible to enter Oman. Since then, the situation has changed and thousands of tourists are now flocking to the borders of the Sultanate of Oman. However, all French nationals need to apply for a visa if they are staying for more than 14 days. How do you apply? How much does it cost? Here are our answers.

To travel to Oman, you need to apply online. There are several types of visa, depending on the purpose of your stay. You can apply for a professional or tourist visa. These visas allow you to spend a maximum of 30 days in Oman. The cost of a 30-day visa is 20 Omani rials (49 €). This visa can be renewed locally, for the same 30-day period, at the Royal Omani Police, for OMR 20 (49 €).

It is also possible to apply for a multiple-entry visa.. This visa is valid for one year and allows a maximum stay of 3 weeks per visit. This visa can be issued if you travel regularly to Oman on business. It costs around 50 Omani rials (123 €) and cannot be renewed.

⚠️ Please note that you will be fined 10 rials (25 €) per day.
